GIS Project - Conversion of Hard Copy Engineering Maps, India

Converting hard copy maps into digital form allows for many ways to model, display, and analyze geographic information. In this project SBNE converted villages and roads into geodatabase format from engineering maps in the state of Orissa, India. Village names, numbers, and road type and name information was captured.
